If you thought your favorite catchy pop songs couldn’t possibly get any catchier, well, you’re wrong. Robin Skouteris came out with a mashup of 24 artists he titled “PopLove (2012).”

Yep, you guessed it. His mashup features the most catchy and popular songs of 2012 that just can’t make it out of your head. The mashup includes Katy Perry’s “Wide Awake”, Psy’s “Gangnam Style,” Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe,” Calvin Harris’ “Feel So Close,” Ellie Goulding’s “Lights,” Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used To Know,” and much more. I must say, this is my new guilty pleasure. Rather sure I have already contributed 25+ views to this insanely catchy mashup!

“PopLove (2012)” is perfect for your end of the year party, reminiscing all of your favorite pop songs, or just busting a move with your friends.

Each of these tracks alone have well over a million views on YouTube. “PopLove (2012)” is currently at 1.7 million views, which is a minuscule amount compared to each of these individual tracks. Psy’s “Gangnam Style” being at a record 880 million. No, I am not lying.

As Mashable has mentioned, this remix does give a new take on all of the songs. It took me ten or so listens to really pick out every song that is actually mixed into the mashup. Without the full list in the caption section of the video on YouTube, I think I would have still missed a few.

According to Robin Skouteris, the songs included in this mashup were not based on top 40 charts (although most of them did make it there). He instead aimed to create “a single track that represents the pop scene of today.” Which song do you think was the catchiest of 2012? “Feel So Close” by Calvin Harris was stuck in my head after listening to this mashup. Guess that’s my “PopLove” of 2012.
