Last night, Oniracom and StartupSB came together for a night of creativity and inspiration! StartUp Creativity was a success, and Oniracom would like to thank everyone who made last night possible. Thanks to CreatorUp, an awesome organization that offers web series tutorials online for presenting, Rusty’s Pizza for providing us with delicious food, StartupSB for letting us host this event in honor of Startup Weekend, and of course to everyone else who made it out to our office!
The office was transformed into a party hub with Matthew McAvene’s art surrounding the entire office. Rob Salzer also provided us with some awesome lighting, which complimented McAvene’s puppets so well. We had over 150 guests at the event last night, mingling around and outside of the office as the night began. Mike then gave a presentation about Oniracom’s latest projects, which were about four apps that we’ve been in the process of creating. Presentations were also given by CreatorUp, the organizer of StartupSB, Kyle Ashby who discussed the upcoming and much anticipated Startup Weekend and Gideon Rubin who discussed Startup America!
The event definitely made everyone excited about the upcoming Startup Weekend, which kicks off next weekend from Friday November 2nd-Sunday November 4th at Citrix Online in Goleta. Kyle’s presentation certainly explained what a great opportunity Startup Weekend is for startup companies and developers. It is also a fun and fully packed weekend that requires you to launch a startup in 55 hours! Launch your startup, have it judged, and meet entrepreneurs! Jacob Tell will be a judge at Startup Weekend and Mike Wald will serve as a coach and mentor during the weekend.
Thank you to everyone who came out last night and for all your support!
