Generally when we e-mail clients, we tend to have larger files, often times most e-mails can not send an attachment of more than 10MB size. This becomes gradually frustrating and can be very time consuming. Recently, we stumbled upon WeTransfer. It’s a new and easy way to send bigger files. It’s a simple and secure web service that allows us to send data up to 2GB! This is great for sending larger multiple files, such as videos, music tracks, photos, which we use quite a bit of. The best part is that it’s free, there is no registration prior to sending, and it can translate in eight different languages! I really like the simplicity of this service and how easy they’ve made it for anyone to utilize. Another thing I really like is that it can send files for up to twenty users in one go, this makes for convenient and effective sending!
They also include a service for companies and/or individuals to have their own “channel.” By creating a channel, it allows for personal URLs (yourname.wetransfer.com) It’s cool because you can upload three wallpapers without seeing any advertisements. These wallpapers allow a link to any website you like. This is great for promotional value as well as a really useful web tool. Essentially, you get two for the price of one, the only difference is you’ll have your own channel with your own personal background, everything else stays the same. I must say it’s a really great web service that I definitely would recommend using.
