Stephenson Teams Up with Hiho Batik On the Creation of the FEED AFRICA! T-shirt With 100% of the Proceeds Being Donated to the United Nations’ World Food Programme


Duane Stephenson may be recognized as one of Reggae’s most talented sons with his top selling releases, “August Town” and “Black Gold,” but he is also a dedicated philanthropist. He has been spreading awareness of world hunger and supporting the efforts of the United Nations’ World Food Programme (WFP) to end hunger worldwide, with special emphasis on the Horn of Africa, where a massive draught is causing a devastating famine. A United Nations institution, WFP is committed to getting food where it is needed, saving the lives of victims of war, civil conflict and natural disasters. Each year, on average, WFP feeds more than 90 million people in 70 countries. Duane joins fellow musicians Christina Aguilera and 50 Cent in supporting this noble cause.

The legendary reggae band the Wailers, historically known for being Bob Marley’s band, have recently partnered with us on a project to benefit humanity. The Wailers’ Aston “Family Man” Barrett, and lead singer Koolant have teamed up with reggae star Duane Stephenson to produce their new track, “A Step For Mankind” to benefit the united Nations’ World Food Programme (WFP). The official music video for the track has been released and is now up for viewing on the Wailers YouTube channel.
