The Legend’s Legends

The legendary reggae band the Wailers, historically known for being Bob Marley’s band, have recently partnered with us on a project to benefit humanity. The Wailers’ Aston “Family Man” Barrett, and lead singer Koolant have teamed up with reggae star Duane Stephenson to produce their new track, “A Step For Mankind” to benefit the united Nations’ World Food Programme (WFP). The official music video for the track has been released and is now up for viewing on the Wailers YouTube channel.

A Step For Mankind

The track is being featured on the forthcoming compilation album “Solutions for Dreamers: Season 3.” our blog’s namesake, and the highly anticipated lovechild of Oniric Records and the WFP. All proceeds from album sales will go to supporting the UN’s WFP, through which, just a single dollar can provide four meals for children in schools. The cause is great the music is wonderful, and the Wailers are as talented as ever with their newest release, “A Step For Mankind.” The video was directed and produced by the very talented Luke Archer, and the track features performances by the hip-hop star Bishop Lamont, singer Duane Stephenson, and the Wailers’ own Koolant. Follow the prompting of the video to figure out how to donate, or you can read more about the programme at WFP.org.
