International artists are gathering together to bring peace, music, and common ground at the One World Concert this Tuesday (tomorrow!) October 9 at Syracuse University’s Carrier Dome. World Harmony Production has organized the “One World Concert,” which is “expected to be one of the largest gatherings of international artists ever to travel to the region.” (World Harmony Production).
Emmanuel Jal, who has received worldwide acclaim for his music, which was charged by his own personal experiences will be performing at One World Concert. The line-up also includes other artists such as, Cyndi Lauper, Dave Matthews, Matisyahu, Nas, Nelly Furtado, and Natasha Bedingfield. This special benefit concert also includes a public talk by the Dalai Lama! An original song that has been written by multiple artists in order to celebrate the Dalai Lama’s Holiness will be performed at the event.
